Monterey in Summer
Monterey is one of our favorite places to visit, and is where we got engaged. A June visit by one of Julie's friends (from the East coast) and her friend's mother (from Beijing) provided us with an opportunity to pay a one-day visit to the coast again. Fortunately, the weather cooperated; something it often does not do along the coast in the summer. Summer days in Monterey are often cold and foggy, as Julie well remembers from having to wear thick wool socks to work (even in the summer), when she lived there.
