December highlights:
  • Jadon's first visit to a zoo. Happy Hollow in San Jose, on 08 December. He seemed to have fun, although he was not yet old enough to get too excited by most of the animals
  • 16 teeth are in by the end of the month
  • On 15 December, Jadon woke up and could not (or would not) walk or crawl. He had been running around normally the night before, but refused to even sit up on the 15th, although he did not seem to be in pain. Problems was somewhat better on 16th, but Jadon would only crawl occasionally, not stand up. Called the doctor on 17th. Without hesitating, the doctor said it was probably Jadon's immune system overresponding to a little cold he had, and attacking his hip joints (we had never heard of such a condition). If so, it should get better in a few days. By 18th, Jadon was back tor normal.
  • By end of month, Jadon can run in short spurts, and can easily keep up with mom and dad walking for quite a few steps.
  • By end of month, Jadon is bending over and looking upside down between his legs. The chinese say tat when a baby does this,k it means their little brother or sister is coming soon.
  • Jadon can say "ma ma", "da da", and "nai nai" (milk in Chinese)
