August highlights:
- Learned to speed crawl. We have to walk very quickly to keep up with Jadon when he gets going.
- Surprised us by climbing upstairs on the 18th! Jadon crawled over the bottom of the stairs. Mom and dad looked at each other and said "Ho w cute, he's going to try to get up on the first step". Instead, he took off up the stairs like he had been doing this for months, and made it all the way to the top on his first attempt. Looks like it's time to install that bottom-of-the-stairs baby gate we've been deferring (the top-of-stairs gate went in when Jadon first learned to crawl.)
- Jadon is easily able to stand up while holding onto some support (e.g., a table) with one hand. He loves to stand up as much as possible
