Beginning last year in 2005, and continuing this year in 2006, Julie has done solo ballet performances in the annual Showcase for China Dance and Arts, a local dance company that specializes in Chinese folk dance and some ballet.

 

China Dance and Arts puts on a first-rate production, including the venue, costumes, lighting, choreography, and dances. This is a great showcase for Julie’s ballet, and Julie’s dance is a great complement to the heavily folkdance-oriented production.
